Winter is Coming: Being Well When It’s Cold and Dark

Tuesday, December 06, 2022 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Hamel Recreation Center

Key themes for this event: Mental Health, Seasonal Health

Winters in New England can be difficult physically, mentally, and emotionally. When it gets cold and dark outside, you might experience mood and energy shifts that can make it hard to go about your usual routines. In this session, we’ll bring in some light and levity to the season by learning about new insights, tools, and connections that can shift your mindset and lift your mood and energy level. You’ll leave knowing about ways to nurture yourself through the winter, and the supports available to you at UNH. After the session, you are invited to dinner at Holloway Commons dining hall! Facilitated by Dawn Zitney, Well-Being Educator/Counselor, Health & Wellness.

Event Details: December 6th, 2022, 4:00-5:00pm in the Hamel Rec Center Demo Kitchen room 239. Register here.
