Nationally-recognized career strategy expert Maureen Crawford Hentz will share tips for surviving—and thriving—during your job search and interviews. Not only will you learn how to be competitive in your job search—these soft skills will make it easier to talk to people in a professional setting in your daily life. If you’ve ever wondered what makes a good handshake, or what is an informational interview, this session will answer your questions and more! Maureen’s advice will benefit graduate students and postdocs from any discipline, at any point in the job search.

The Graduate School is also offering free dinner at Holloway Commons from 4:45-5:45 PM before the event. Be sure to register for the "Dinner & Workshop" section to join us for some food before heading over to the MUB!
