The NRESS Ph.D. Program draws on the university's strengths in environmental and earth sciences, life sciences, social sciences, and ethical and policy studies. We are the largest, most interdisciplinary Ph.D. program at UNH, with nationally recognized faculty who represent more than 23 departments, research groups, outreach programs and schools. Our graduates are making a difference in fields of climate change, sustainability, environmental conservation, policy and more, with 90% of our alumni working in universities, laboratories, companies, and NGOs around the world.
