John (Jack) Hastings

Research Topic

Remote Sensing and Modeling of Temperate Forested Ecosystems

Jack’s research interests include using remote sensing platforms to study New England temperate forested ecosystems, and how remote sensing data products can be incorporated into regional modeling efforts. He is especially interested in thinking about how forest canopy architecture influences landscape-scale processes.
