The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) highlights the groundbreaking research of University of New Hampshire Master's and PhD candidates. Created by UQ, the competition helps students develop essential academic, presentation, and research communication skills. Through the 3MT®, participants enhance their ability to present their research concisely and effectively in just three minutes, using language that resonates with a non-specialist audience. Competitors are permitted one PowerPoint slide but no additional resources or props. To support participants, we offer a comprehensive workshop series that covers every stage of preparation—from crafting the presentation to designing the slide and refining delivery skills.
